Yesterday, I had the privilege of shooting with Washington Life photographer Tony Powell in the lovely Meridan Park. Tony is one of the most professional and gracious photographers in D.C. and he can really make some magic happen through his lens. The inspiration for the first shoot was The Three Graces. . The next inspired look was "illusion" themed. A black mask was painted across the length of my face as I wore a sheer lace silhouette by Studio D-Maxsi.

Fashion Fights Poverty

Friday night- Fashion Fights Poverty had its 5th annual runway show- showcasing regional eco-friendly designers. The Mayflower served as the perfect venue for this years show for the hundreds of supporter who came out. The show was very dynamic in that the designers collections ranged from accessories, menswear, women's ready-to-wear, to evening wear.

Urban Chic Fall '09 Trends

Fashion blogger Makeda of TheGlamazonDiaries and I got together last week for a photo shoot at Urban Chic in Georgetown to capture the emerging trends for fall '09. Makeda and I gingerly went through Urban's amazing fall collection to pick out a few looks that are a must have/ must rock- out this fall. The candidates are as follows: Lace and pale pink party dress by Alice + Olivia, Theory navy cropped pants, and Alice + Olivia Wool coat and rhinestone necklace.
